1996-2010
Father & Son Build the Foundation
In 1996, Sherman and Dave Forehand founded Forehand Construction Group, originally known as Restoration Management, with a mission to deliver quality construction services to their community.
What began as a father-and-son team quickly became a trusted name in Construction, Remodeling, and Property Restoration projects.
Their commitment to craftsmanship and integrity laid the foundation for the family-owned business that continues to serve Alabama today.

2010-2018
Generational Growth
From 2010 to 2018, Dave Forehand focused on growing the remodeling business, specializing in kitchens, bathrooms, window replacement, home additions, basement finishing, attic build-outs, and exterior projects.
Known as “The Kitchen Guy” through his WDJC Radio ads, Dave built a reputation for quality craftsmanship and innovative home renovations.
As the company expanded, Forehand Construction Group became a trusted name in home remodeling across Trussville, Birmingham, and Central Alabama.
2018 to Present
Legacy Expansion
In 2018, Chase Forehand joined the family business after graduating from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). With his expertise and fresh perspective, he introduced roofing services to Forehand Construction Group, expanding the company’s capabilities.
Now a father-and-son team once again, Dave and Chase continue the tradition of craftsmanship, integrity, and personalized service. Based in Trussville, AL, they take pride in helping homeowners improve their homes—one project at a time.
Just like Dave and his father, the two of them are thrilled to be riding in a pickup truck together.

Dave is married to his wife Kristie, has two kids, and three grandchildren. He graduated from the University of Alabama in 1987 with a business and marketing degree.
Dave got his home builders license in 1996 and has been in the industry for 33 years.
His passion is helping clients bring their vision to life.

Chase grew up in Trussville and graduated from UAB with a business degree. He is passionate about roofing and remodeling.
He takes pride in all aspects of the project and has assembled a team that is efficient and service minded.

Kristie grew up in Trussville and is married to her husband Dave. She has two children and three grandchildren.
Kristie graduated from Jefferson State University in 2007 and has been in the industry since 2020.
She most enjoys working alongside her family and helping customers.

Emily grew up in Trussville, but currently resides in Hoover.
She is married to her husband Bubba and has a daughter. Emily graduated from the University of Alabama in 2017 with a degree in Education.
She finds excitement in helping the business grow through digital platforms.

Mike grew up in Maine, but has lived in Trussville since 1999.
He is married to his wife Martha, has two children, and two grandchildren. Before coming to Forehand Construction he spent his time as a property adjuster for 30 years.
Mike enjoys being able to blend his experience as an adjuster with roofing and construction services to help customers.
